In Planned Obsolescence, Mr. Peanutbutter surprises Pickles, by picking her up from work and inviting her to go with him to the desert, so they can watch the international space station being blown up. As soon as the scene is cut, Mr. Peanutbutter tries to complement Melodie on her acting but she walks away in disgust. Mr. Peanutbutter tells them that's great seeing that's just what they wanted. BoJack then asks why the set looks like his house. He says the flooding ruined Julie Brown's new vintage dress she just bought and ruined the big finale of the show where her puppet plays Beethoven's fifth on the bongos. Princess Carolyn then meets with Ralph to discuss the idea. Because Princess Carolyn doesn't give them any candy, thirteen-year-old Todd, Emily and a friend of theirs teepee BoJack's house. During the limo ride to the desert, Mr. Peanutbutter asks the driver to turn off the romantic music and put something less romantic on. Pickles explains she had to text her friend, and it was weird to watch her sweetheart boyfriend play a mean cop. Mr. Peanutbutter later calls Diane, who is in Ojai with BoJack, very early in the morning. When Mr. Peanutbutter hears Ruthie knock over a lamp he says that he hears the note and he will be back with her drink. The "D" incident inspired the film Mr. Peanutbutter's Hollywoo Heist, directed by Quentin Tarantulino. Pickles tells Joey she will see him later and he puts his hoodie on her shoulders when he realizes she is shivering. Mr. Peanutbutter meets Doctor Champ who tells Mr. Peanutbutter that Mr. Peanutbutter is the first friend BoJack invited to the friends and family meeting, but Mr. Peanutbutter says he doesnt remember getting an invitation. BoJack gets angry at his mockery and tells him Diane went to Cordovia to get away from her failing marriage. Later that night, Diane signed the papers and officially divorced Mr. Peanutbutter. Mr. Peanutbutter says he wants them to be even somehow. He's glad he knows she hates parties and they won't ever have that argument ever again. When Pickles said she doesnt want to be mad at him, Mr. Peanutbutter begins to say something but he stops himself and lets Pickles continue. After Mr. Peanutbutter walks away BoJack once again pulls out Hollyhock's unopened letter from his jacket, looks at it, and his hands shake. Jessica yells at Mr. Peanutbutter for not keeping the mummy away, while also revealing she auditioned to play the actual mummy as she storms off. Mr. Peanutbutter explains this is the first time hes ever felt that way and doesnt know how to handle itto which Diane retorts back that he should feel that way, the two then get up in each other's faces as they argue, before making out and beginning to have sex again. Mr. Peanutbutter guesses time flies when you're having fun. Of course, hes on board with the idea. Later shows Todd and Mr. Peanutbutter continuing to work on business ventures for PB Livin' they brainstorm on the fly. However, he is not as dumb as he might be letting on, as stupidity is part of his persona and a result of his naivety, and he can at times show hidden depth. He fails and shakes tomato sauce all over Princess Carolyn and the bedroom. She insists people will love it, and that love will transfer over to Mr. Peanutbutter. Diane says she isn't happy and that helping people and making a difference with Sebastian St. Clair could give her a reason to get out of bed. Also, in After the Party and What Time Is It Right Now, where he upsets and angers Diane by doing grand gestures for her and giving her elaborate gifts which she tells him countless times throughout their relationship she doesn't like. BoJack explains that the letter is from Hollyhock and he can't open it because he's afraid she'll tell him she never wants to speak to him or see him again. He tells BoJack that when his mom got old they sent her to a farm. Mr. Peanutbutter tells Pickles to keep having sex with guys until she finds someone with whom she has an intimate connection. He has the capital to start them despite never following through with them. Mr. Peanutbutter starts to say they should set a date for the wedding but he is interrupted by Pickles telling him about the job opportunity with Joey Pogo. Do They Know Things?? This puts a damper on the mood, and Pickles says that they should just finish their meal and then head to watch the explosion. Mr. Peanutbutter decides to try and toughen up his image. Before ending the call, Diane makes Mr. Peanutbutter promise not to bother their skunk neighbor, stating that she doesn't want to deal with a stinky husband when she returns home. Later, at Elefante, Mr. Peanutbutter tells Pickles he needs to talk to her, which upsets her, but she assures him whatever happensshe wont stop loving him. BoJack responds he thought it would be with no one because he wasted the best years of her life. Later, Princess Carolyn gets another phone call from Mr. Peanutbutter. He tries to eavesdrop on Flip and Princess Carolyn but Mr. Peanutbutter arrives. She tells him she has to leave tonight and could be gone a while. Joey tells him life is precious, and that's something he learned in rehab. Todd takes Mr. Peanutbutter to the baddest bar in Hollywoo, where the paparazzi birds are waiting outside. Ralph, who is very wealthy as he is a Stilton, sets up an interview for Diane with his younger sister, Stefani Stilton, for her feminist blog website Girl Croosh. BoJack is deflated, but Mr. Peanutbutter accidentally mentions afterward Todd's desire to not nominate BoJack and ends the conversation by promising him "none of this matters" and leaving. In the meat locker, Pickles asks how much longer they have to continue working with Joey. Mr. Peanutbutter convinces her to stay home for the time being. Mr. Peanutbutter would continue to do this every yeardespite BoJack hating the parties, although he would always get extremely drunk by the end and would always tell the leaving guests to do it again next year. in the following episode against Daniel Radcliffe for charity which BoJack thinks is Daniel's stripper girlfriend or somethingas in Charity (female name) instead of charity (like donating money). He tells her they'll talk about this when she comes home. Mr. Peanutbutter then questions this. In It's You, Mr. Peanutbutter becomes depressed due to his brother's illness, as he and Todd purchase a new building for Cabracadabra's headquarters. He was also the first person to intervene when BoJack, high on opioids, started strangling Gina to death, saying sternly "Ok thats enough!" Diane plays along and says she can make it home that night. After Pickles learns about Diane, they agree she can sleep with multiple guys until she finds the right one to cheat on him with, although this ends up with her leaving him for Joey Pogo, and they officially break up through text in Xerox of a Xerox. He tells them he'd be delighted to answer questions about his good friend BoJack. A drunk BoJack tells everyone to make this party an annual thing, and he wants to see everyone back here next year. She leaves, and BoJack swallows a few more pills. He is always trying to reach out to BoJack and be his friend. On Mr. Peanutbutter's House, he wore a dark blue collared button-down shirt with a 90s-esque geometric yellow, purple, and teal pattern on it, light blue jeans, brown belt, and white sneakers with Velcro straps. However, Diane realizes that the notes he took were all gibberish, and he admits that he wanted to get back together with her. Flip yells cut and tells Mr. Peanutbutter that's what real strangling looks like. He apologizes to her, and when asked how he could do that he tells her that it was the worst mistake of his life. She takes him outside and uses the toilet paper the house had been covered with by teenagers (including a teenage Todd) to turn him into a mummy. Diane, who now has a bunch of car keys, is still trying to get her car out and calling people to move their cars. However, this role was almost jeopardized in Hank After Dark when Diane, while on a book tour with BoJack promoting the paperback version of BoJack's book, brought up dark allegations made towards veteran MBN talk show host Hank Hippopopalous from eight of his former assistants. Mr. Peanutbutter asks what his plans are once he gets out. He's saying to her "What do you mean, a duel? They awkwardly shake hands before she gets out of the car. Diane suggests that he have a housewarming party. Mr. Peanutbutter appears behind him and after BoJack questions why hes here, he explains hes the face of depression, to BoJacks confusion. Pickles tells Mr. Peanutbutter that just because he feels bad it doesnt make it okay. This would eventually end in their divorce, since the fact that Mr. Peanutbutter pressured Diane to approach BoJack, involving another one of Mr. Peanutbutter's . He threw the party for himself. BoJack, annoyed, questions what they're doing here. interrupting the party. After this, she and Mr. Peanutbutter, who is at the same restaurant, notice each other from across the room, to their shock. BoJack later shows up at Mr. Peanutbutter's house after losing his home. As the two approach it, BoJack says with a smile "Well looks like you finally got your crossover episode," to Mr. Peanutbutter's utter excitement. BoJack later calls Princess Carolyn and complains that Mr. Peanutbutter does his own stunts, so now he has to do his own stuntsbut he doesn't want to anymore. She cheerfully says it's fine, but starts to sound upset when she talks about his ex-wives and how Diane is here. Mr. Peanutbutter asks BoJack if he's ready to go. Besides his love for tennis balls, he hates the game tennis because he gets angry at how nobody ever catches the ball. They arrive at BoJack's house. When the scene is cut, Mr. Peanutbutter again tries to complement Melodie but she tells him to drop dead." He gives her the version without the whip cream and Pickles says now she actually wants whip cream. Diane refuses to do this, saying it isn't right that his ex-wife should explain to his girlfriend, that he cheated on her with his ex-wife. Mr. Peanutbutter then announces that the "D" in the Hollywood sign will be replaced. She nervously sings the theme song. He approaches Jessica Biel while Mr. Peanutbutter watches in dismay, as his notebook costume was too wide to let him run through the door to protect her. Paige tells her husband they are back from New Mexico and still on the trail of their story. Mr. Peanutbutter shows the latter problem after he cheats on Pickles by sleeping with Dianeand he asks her to break the news to Pickles, which Diane rightfully refuses to do. When Joey yells at Mr. Peanutbutter to get out of the way, Princess Carolyn claims to have watched Mr. Peanutbutter jump in front of the car, saying that Mr. Peanutbutter yelled, Im a sad dog before doing it.
