He is survived by his wife, Mercedes Sosa Flores; three daughters, Mercedes, Consuelo, and Carmen Flores; a son, Juan E. Flores; and 5 grandchildren. Interment was at Arlington National Cemetery under the direction of Gerhardt Funeral Home. He was a member of St. John's Episcopal Church. He is survived by a brother, William V.
